Hospital Veterinario San Antón

Llevo a todos mis animales a este veterinario y solo tengo palabras buenas. Mi gato Coco empezó a ir cojo y lo llevamos enseguida. Llamaron al doctor Felipe ya que es el de trauma y en un segundo le hizo un diagnóstico. Desde el momento 1 súper buen trato, le operó y está GENIAL. Mi enhorabuena por el equipazo que hay, pero en especial al cirujano Felipe! Tienen a un verdadero profesional y un orgullo para el centro! Siempre recomendándoos y como siempre, volveremos:) Mil gracias!

I am so grateful for the staff at this clinic. I brought my 15 year old dog Charlie to them late at night, where he was quickly examined and admitted to their hospital unit overnight. They keep me informed of his status by calling during the day, allowed me to come see him during visiting hours, and called me to share the devastating results of his ultrasound right away. We drove in within 40 minutes to put Charlie to eternal sleep. From first contact to the last breath of my beloved family member, they were kind, understanding, soft spoken and realistic. I have dreaded the day I’d have to make this desicion for Charlie, but I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you ❤️‍

❌ DONT COME HERE!! PLEASE READ❌ WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE On 17 August 2025, our cat’s kidneys had shut down — he was drooling, tongue hanging out, barely alive. We rushed to this clinic on a Sunday evening in 40°C heat, desperate for help. Instead, they made us wait nearly 50 minutes while taking in other patients who arrived after us. No updates no one even checked on him. When we finally begged for help they said wait. We waited another 10 min but our cat almost stopped breeathing so ee got irritated and asked whats going on? Then the staff became very VERY aggressive, came close to our face yelling at the top of her lungs, opened the door, and literally threw us out of the clinic yelling at us while I was crying with my cat in our hands. She even told us in Spanish: "Shove your cat up your ass, we don’t care." And threw us out on the streets. How do which human work with animals? Where is her heart???? They kicked us out on the street after waiting 1h with out dying cat in 40 degrees outside….. This is the most unprofessional, cruel, and inhumane treatment I have ever experienced. Such people should never be allowed to work in healthcare. Thankfully, we went to Veterinaria Guardamar 24h – Veterpet just 70 meter away right after, and they immediately admitted our cat, treated him with compassion, and saved his life. Today, our cat is hospitalized because his kidneys failed and he was close to death — and only thanks to them he is still alive. I wouldn’t recommend San Anton Veterinary Clinic to my worst enemy. What happened here is beyond shocking and absolutely unacceptable.

I lost my cat due to negligence at Hospital Veterinario San Antón (Guardamar del Segura). Blood tests were ignored, urgent treatment was denied, and I was told he was "sleeping" while he was actually dying. I cannot recommend this clinic. Additional information to reply: what you are saying is not true. On Saturday was our last visit just because we didn’t have any choice for weekend. Your doctor, i will not mention the name, 2 times didn’t even had a clue that it could be started liver problems, he didn’t have any liver problems before, you also have his blood test from January and it was completely fine. When the cat is not eating they usually start with liver problems, why not to give him liver protectors?? Why additionally kill his liver with hormones and antibiotics? My biggest advice to her, if she doesn’t know what is going on, ask advice colleagues, i know you have good doctors in a clinic, don’t do anything and hope it will be fine. I was very unlucky to trust her. Perdí a mi gato por la negligencia en Hospital Veterinario San Antón (Guardamar del Segura). Ignoraron las analíticas, no aplicaron el tratamiento urgente y me dijeron que "estaba durmiendo" cuando en realidad estaba muriendo. No lo recomiendo.

Hasta hoy bastante bien...mañana iré a pedir historial de mis animales porque no volveré. Se me ha acabado el medicamento para el corazón de mi perro. Resulta que me desplazo desde Rojales hasta Guardamar. Entro y no había nadie. Y me dicen :¿Cómo has entrado? Digo:- está abierto. Salen dos veterinarias y una de ellas me dice que están en urgencias porque es festivo . Le digo: -¿pero no me das el medicamento ya que estoy dentro y vengo desde Rojales? Contestación: estamos en urgencias. POR ENCIMA DE URGENCIAS ESTÁ LA VOLUNTAD DE AYUDAR. NO COSTABA NADA. Y asumir su error de dejar la puerta abierta... mañana... libro de reclamaciones. *La veterinaria tiene el pelo corto, rizado, castaña y gafas. Parece inexperta. La otra tiene el pelo tintado de rubio, bastante rubio y corto. ESTOS SON LOS VETERINARIOS QUE SE SUPONE QUE AYUDAN A NUESTRA FAMILIA ANIMAL. Costaba muy poco ser buena persona.
